Getting To Know Dubai

There are very few international travel destinations that exert the pull of Dubai – and the attractions of the largest city in the United Arab Emirates seem to grow daily. There is simply so much to do in Dubai – from taking in the view over the modern cityscape and the desert that surrounds it from the top of the Burj Khalifa (the world’s tallest building), perusing the offerings of some of the exclusive stores in the world in an air-conditioned mall or indulging in world-class cuisine while enjoying being spoiled in an ultra-luxurious seven-star hotel this is a multicultural city that simply has it all.

When one pictures Dubai one is tempted to focus on the impressive skyline dominated by modern skyscrapers – or the marina where some of the most luxurious yachts in the world find a berth throughout the year. However, there is another side to Dubai – one that is steeped in the Arabic culture that is such an important part of the city’s history. Alongside the skyscrapers and malls, there are the Souks, where trade continues much as it has done for thousands of years.

The city is the perfect holiday destination not only for those who want a taste of the exotic as well as access to modern convenience and comfort – but also for those who want to explore the wonders of the desert that surrounds the city. There are numerous options when it comes to enjoying the stark beauty of the sands. One can indulge in a camel safari or overnight at a luxurious tented camp – complete with a plunge pool and exquisite cusine. Or take to the skies in a hot air balloon to get a bird’s eye view of the desert below and the endless horizons that beckon. Alternatively, enjoy the adrenaline-soaked adventure of quad biking or sand surfing the dunes – there is something for everyone.

The dining destinations in Dubai are another reason that visitors flock to this desert oasis. Michelin starred restaurants abound. Enjoy fine French Mediterranean cuisine at LPM, delve into the wonders of a contemporary Japanese menu at world-famous NOBU, or enjoy the Gordon Ramsey experience at Bread Street Kitchen & Bar. Every dining experience is an adventure.

Dubai offers a holiday experience like no other in the world. It is perfect for couples, families, or those who simply want to delve into a fascinating destination where the ultra-modern and the ancient collide to produce a city that overflows with pulsating energy that makes each moment shine with possibility.

Over the last ten years, Dubai has become one of most rapidly growing business hubs in the Middle East and around the world.  The city offers high-quality facilities to businesses along with a favourable environment. The government of Dubai has brought a number of economic reforms and administrative policies to attract capital and business from around the globe. Interior Design Companies like British managed, Broadway Interiors, are now thriving in the city.
